After being kept off the Moor for a few days by the weather it was good to be out again today. The trees always make great silhouettes against the snow: Red deer tracks everywhere as they had been here sheltering from the snow. You could see where they had crossed the stream: This is always a quiet place but even more so today. Not a birdsong to be heard. However the stream had its own magic: Icicles everywhere: Back up into the wood and the shadows were lengthening: All in all a good trip out but the occasional deer or even a blackbird would have been good!
