It’s great to see the adders reappearing after winter.  I saw them on February 15th last year but they are about 2 weeks later this year. Worth waiting for, as a little bit of sunshine brings the males out.  They need to be in prime condition for the mating season, next month.

We saw 4 within about half an hour and we met some walkers who had seen a further 3.
